The mother and child in the photo reminds me of
Our Lady and the Infant Jesus.
O my God,
I am heartily sorry for
having offended Thee,
and I detest all my sins,
because I dread the loss of heaven,
and the pains of hell;
but most of all because
they offend Thee, my God,
Who are all good and
deserving of all my love.
I firmly resolve,
with the help of Thy grace,
to confess my sins,
to do penance,
and to amend my life.

A beautiful yet bittersweet picture. I went to the source and looked at the rest of the pictures too. I do hope the people can survive this ordeal while trying to regain their strength and keep their little ones and their elderly safe. The weather is said to be so hot up to 104. If they can keep the basic necessities going, they can do anything.
