"Are we prepared to promote conditions in which the living contact with God can be reestablished? For our lives today have become godless to the point of complete vacuity. God is no longer with us in the conscious sense of the word. He is denied, ignored, excluded from every claim to have a part in our daily life." - Alfred Delp, S.J.

There was something I wanted to say - or do a post on ...

But it will have to wait.

  1. I'm waiting to learn His will for me. I hope to have a clearer idea by Friday.

  2. I swear our priest read the Fr. Ciszek quote before his homily this morning - it was the same message!

  3. I'm not sure what moved me to think of it - oh wait - now I know. Fr. Ciszek is a model for our times.

  4. Did Fr. P. acquaint you with Walter? As you blog, keep in mind Walter Ciszek's other famous quote: "Do your lousy best."

    1. That's what I keep telling myself each time I go to yet another job interview...

  5. No - I knew of him a long time ago. But I know Fr. P loves him.
