  1. Shrill, lugubrious, manipulative, monolithic, one-note pounding battleship grey. Can't read their stuff for long. I get dry brain. They seem to absolutize their own inner emotions into a kind of top-heavy, isolated vernacular. Like the well-worn chasms-of-hell-are-opening all-systems-fail you-have-ten-seconds-before-evacuation template applied to Vigano's letter by his ghostwriter friend. They gobble that stuff up like gelato.

Oh and people applauded? Well, well, well...

"Wherever applause breaks out in the liturgy because of some human achievement, it is a sure sign that the essence of liturgy has totally disappeared and been replaced by a kind of religious entertainment. Such attraction fades quickly – it cannot compete in the market of leisure pursuits, incorporating as it increasingly does various forms of religious titillation” --Card. Ratzinger

    What?

I don't know why they don't just go start their own hot garbage club with Alex Jones who has been the veritable pope of conspiracies that consign the entire vatican to the dark league of the illuminati for years and years and years on his radio show, which, unsurprisingly, has become increasingly centered on selling quackery just like the old dudes back in the 20s and 30s.
