Hillary Clinton makes her position clear: "Deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed."

You can believe her on this one.

Ah!  The Clinton's.  They can charm and entertain and promise you the moon.  I can't help but like them.  Seriously, Bill cracks me up, I admire is intelligence, his down-to-earthiness.  Hillary always seems reasonable, intelligent, open-minded and ever so capable at whatever she does - and these two together, make the most adorable, loving grandparents - sort of a Hepburn and Tracy kind of couple - huh?  How about that analogy?  I'm actually serious - they can just seem so darn likable!  And their daughter - Chelsea - I almost feel proud of her - like she's part of my family or something.

Then there is always something to remind me ... they're tricksters.

Mrs. Clinton rarely speaks as clearly as she did recently - giving us a glimpse into her agenda - pretty much unchanged from the trajectory of the current Administration's foreign and domestic policies...
“Far too many women are denied access to reproductive health care and safe childbirth, and laws don’t count for much if they’re not enforced. Rights have to exist in practice — not just on paper,” Clinton said.
“Laws have to be backed up with resources and political will,” she explained. “And deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed. As I have said and as I believe, the advancement of the full participation of women and girls in every aspect of their societies is the great unfinished business of the 21st century and not just for women but for everyone — and not just in far away countries but right here in the United States.” - The DC

You can't trust the Clinton's.

Song for this post here.

  1. I don't find either of them the least bit entertaining. They've left a string of dead bodies in their wake, steal, lie, and cheat.

What she said is completely scary. The rats have come out into the daylight and everyone sits back and yawns.

Scarier still is the pic of her in all those ugly pant suits. NB: the matching shoes. The Sartorialist would not be impressed. No siree! We get it, Hill. You have legs that are the size of tree stumps. So what? Put on a nice A-line dress with flared hem and dark stockings. You'll look much better.

  3. "denied access to reproductive health care" in the same sentence with "safe childbirth" ?

Where "reproductive health care" is a beloved euphemism for "abortion"?

I would really like to be a fly on the wall, to watch as Clinton and her handlers craft a sentence like that. Did it come naturally to her, or did she have to work for it? To write and rewrite? Is it a "natural" sentence for her, or does she have to tinker with it?

  4. I love the word verisimilitude in reference to this "campaign": the appearance of the truth, it is hard for me to explain how I see this word, its meaning, in reference to all of this...brave new world stuff.
like....pulling the wool over the eyes, old expressions, not now used.
I am, after all, a Delta.....

  5. She sounds as if the presidency is already in the bag...may God have mercy on us all.

Now, should it come to pass, I am taking the high road and moving here:

  6. For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 2 Timothy 4:3. So very true.
