I just read several blog posts by different authors attacking this Catholic author, that Catholic priest, the other Catholic priest - severe condemnations of one another and declarations of knowing one and the others guilt and, and, and ... I think some of them believe they can read hearts and can tell you not only who is going to hell, but who is there already!
I don't feel so bad now.
Imagine if Jerome and Ambrose had had the Internet. They would make these guys look like pikers in comparison.
ReplyDeleteI'm not comparing anyone to those two august saints, btw. Just saying.
Yeah.
DeleteIt's scary. I'm staying out of it.
ReplyDeleteMe too!
DeleteHaving read some of what you just described, I want to congratulate you on finding the most apropos photo to describe it all... I guess I feel grateful I don't even know what some of them are talking about, and I don't care enough to waste my time following links to the "proof" that "validates" the criticism and condemnation. When you throw mud at people, it tends to get on you, too, don't you agree?
ReplyDeleteI do agree - it's a good lesson.
