Lent is over - it's Easter now.

Jesus, I trust in you.

Are you changed?

Or was it wasted on you?

Divine Mercy Sunday is coming.

  1. I like to think that I am "better". My Lent was alright. I stuck to what I set out to do with it. Right now I'm concentrating on Divine Mercy Sunday and taking advantage of it.

  2. I love the Octave - Divine Mercy is the evening of the first day.

I think something may have happened with me - I'm hoping I remain faithful to it.

I'm so grateful that even if I'm not changed or better (what does "better" mean in God's calculus, anyway?), that Jesus still died for the forgiveness of my sins -- past, present and future, and that:

"neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
    Romans 8:38-39 KJV

  8. It wasn't wasted on me, but it was certainly better than I deserved. When I was living in religious life, I had much better Lents and Easters. But I just haven't been able to reconcile my contemplative self with the guy who has to get up and make a living. But it does sound like something good happened in you, and I am always able to appreciate another's joy.

  9. In spite of "for all" going to "for many," Easter is never wasted.
