"Are we prepared to promote conditions in which the living contact with God can be reestablished? For our lives today have become godless to the point of complete vacuity. God is no longer with us in the conscious sense of the word. He is denied, ignored, excluded from every claim to have a part in our daily life." - Alfred Delp, S.J.

I love this ...

I want to know Christ and Him crucified and be conformed to Him ...

  2. Okay, better get ready for sorrow and suffering. Grab a box of tissues and some ibuprofen!

Btw--thanks for introducing me to St Benedict Joseph Labre. I love saints who are the complete opposite of me. LOL

  3. There was a majesty and mystery to the old Trinidentine Mass. Those of us who knew it do miss the reverence it embodied in it. We now have a valid Mass that can be reverent but is more a community celebration then a private communication with God.
