"Are we prepared to promote conditions in which the living contact with God can be reestablished? For our lives today have become godless to the point of complete vacuity. God is no longer with us in the conscious sense of the word. He is denied, ignored, excluded from every claim to have a part in our daily life." - Alfred Delp, S.J.

So cool!

Earth-people: This is the first time a spacecraft
has ever landed on the surface of a comet.
You have nothing to fear
from us.

  1. This is totally cool. I have read the description of it over and over and I still don't get how they figured it out or got it to land correctly. Though I have to say, the pictures of the real comment look very CGI ish.

  2. Seriously - they said the probe is picking up strange sounds - it really is fascinating.

What if the sound was coming from a Rave at the Mos Eisley Cantina?

  3. I love the Ann Barnhardt photo. Sometimes I wish I could join her on Cloud Cuckooland. Must be nice to rocket through life about three feet above reality.

You always find the best pictures. I may have to see a psychiatrist after viewing the photo of the dashing young monsignor lighting the cigarette of the cardinal with the $500 shades. Paging Dr. Freud... I'll be sending you the bill.

    1. You are the only one to pick up on the AB photo.
