    I actually have a friend who is on this "retreat." She told me that no one thinks it's right to have this cruise during Lent, but they're all going anyway.

    Go figure.

    The one time I went on a cruise we spent a lot of time being terribly sea sick. It really isn't as glamorous as you might think.

    I'm pleased Fr. Z backed out. His going on the cruise was my main objection - otherwise I don't care what people do for Lent.
