I wish I could like this; I really do. Cher just creeps me out; sorry. The song is very nice, though. The male vocalist (Marc Cohn) is great. A line in the song reminded me of a line in the movie, "New in Town", which we just saw last week (it's a great 'take' on Minnesotans/Sconnies/etc.)... "Are you Christian? Tonight I am" or something like that reminded me of one of the first things the lady from New Ulm, MN asks Renee Zellwegger (a corporate executive from Miami who lands in the stone-cold Mn winter...) "Have you found Jesus?" To which Ms.Z. replies without a pause, "I didn't know He was lost!" LOL!! I died laughing!! 'I'm a Christian for tonight.' Yeah!! Isn't that typical?!:<)!

Me too Terry. I just LOVE this song. It is an ode to WC Handy. I think that is why it is so good. When it came out I used to love zooming around in my acura, quite drunk, listening to it...gone the litte car and gone the boubon...
