"Are we prepared to promote conditions in which the living contact with God can be reestablished? For our lives today have become godless to the point of complete vacuity. God is no longer with us in the conscious sense of the word. He is denied, ignored, excluded from every claim to have a part in our daily life." - Alfred Delp, S.J.

One on one...

  1. Anonymous11:10 PM

    ... so beautifully expressed!

  2. Jean Vanier and his movement is one of the greatest signs of hope in our times...praise God for him and those who live this charism.
The older I get, the more I realize how really broken I am and how much I need others, especially those who are considered "broken" by the world.
The love we give to another, especially if they cannot give back, is all the more real...it is Jesus' love for us made incarnate. Blessed poverty!

  3. The Head of the Nail... Nice job.
