"Are we prepared to promote conditions in which the living contact with God can be reestablished? For our lives today have become godless to the point of complete vacuity. God is no longer with us in the conscious sense of the word. He is denied, ignored, excluded from every claim to have a part in our daily life." - Alfred Delp, S.J.

Ray Update.

Monica went to see him today!  Yay!  Monica!  Anyway - he hasn't heard anything new from the doctors so he's kind of the same - sick.  So keep praying - and he thanks everyone for the prayers BTW.
.
What?  I don't know what else to say.

  1. I prayed the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for him today at the Cathedral. I also asked St. Pantaleimon to intercede on his behalf.

  2. Thanks, Ter.

He looks good in this photo, though.

  3. Aren't you good Nan.

Gette - I asked the nurse for pain killers and she didn't appreciate it. Nurses!

  4. I was only there because I felt pressured; yesterday on my way out of Mass, Fr. K chirped "see you tomorrow at 5:15 Mass!" like he hasn't caught on that I don't go to Mass every day.
