I was waiting to post something on the death of a wonderful lady - well really, waiting for Mitchell Hadley of Our Word to write something, I should say.  Read his tribute here.   Thanks Mitchell.
Lena Horne died May 9, 2010 at the age of 92.

    Lena Horne gave class a e=new meaning. Her one woman show and commentary on racism in Hollywood is peerless...Such style...I just loved the way she insisted on being herself. The interview she did w/ Ed Bradley is one I still remember... Stormy Weather? oh my...
