What do you know? I'm having another "shhh...just for men" slow witted moment.
I don't quite get the Fr Z phenomenon. He seems to be required reading in catholic blogland. I have him in my reader because I don't want to miss out. But I just feel as though I'm pressing my nose up against the glass and peeping at the cocktail party. I can see them all mingling, but I don't really know what they're talking about.
Here's what I think. Sr. Lucia was a cloistered nun. She didn't e-mail the last secret to the pope. It was I presume, hand carried to him. Who's to say it wasn't altered? Sr. Lucia being cloistered would never know and neither was the pope. No need for dark conspiracies. Men interfere with the sacred all the time.

Clare - you make me laugh - I just linked to you.
ReplyDeleteSeeker - I dunno. ;)
Hasn't the Church said that the whole text is definitively out?
ReplyDelete"Some say it is, some say it isn't."
It's like, "But who do you say that I am?" If the Church says it, that settles it, no? He who hears His Church, hears Him.
