"Are we prepared to promote conditions in which the living contact with God can be reestablished? For our lives today have become godless to the point of complete vacuity. God is no longer with us in the conscious sense of the word. He is denied, ignored, excluded from every claim to have a part in our daily life." - Alfred Delp, S.J.

The Debate

Who wins?
No one ever wins a political debate as far as I am concerned. Watching the Palin/Biden debate all I have to say is Sarah Palin did very well. Very well. I totally get her appeal.
Foreign readers - I used the McCain/Palin photo to illustrate the ticket - Mrs. Palin debated Sen. Joe Biden, the democratic running mate of Barrack Obama.

  1. I thought she was just as cute as a bugs ear....

My husband said she looked like someone who could put an icepick in you and never lose the smile on her face...

    Both are good things!

  2. No, I don't hate him, but I can't put into words just how much I dislike Joe Biden.

  3. Technically, Biden won - on points. He obviously had command of his facts and was more focused.

BUT, Palin won because she held her own despite expectations and was more appealing.

  4. I would agree Biden did well, but he made up his facts :)

I was hoping, too, that she would be more of a pit bull. My aunt thought she was quite aggressive, but I thought she was pretty soft on Biden.
