"Are we prepared to promote conditions in which the living contact with God can be reestablished? For our lives today have become godless to the point of complete vacuity. God is no longer with us in the conscious sense of the word. He is denied, ignored, excluded from every claim to have a part in our daily life." - Alfred Delp, S.J.

So close ... terror attack in St. Cloud, Minnesota

Dahir Adan stabbed shoppers in a Minnesota mall,
even asking if the victims were Muslim before stabbing them.

In the meantime, ISIS claims responsibility.

Yet St. Cloud police are calling it a "potential act of terrorism".  Story here.

It's getting closer ...

  1. It is only sensible to restrict immigration. Only a fool invites potentially violent people into their home. This is not of our creating but we must be realistic. Christian charity does not mean being a fool. I understand many innocent people are adversely effected but that is unavoidable. Our own safety is the primary. It seems to me that there are people coming here to benefit from our generousity but with no real intention of adopting our values. This is just common sense.
