"I want to say 'Jacob, I'm so sorry.'" - Jacob Wetterling's Mom

"What did I do wrong?"
The boy asked before his sexual assault and execution.

Song for Jacob here.

  1. Praying for the repose of his soul and consolation to his parents!

  2. Had a hard time reading it. I have to think as awful as it is, ultimately it's better to know the cold callous truth than be left in the dark, and eventually over time and with grace it allows for peace. But maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it really is better to just never know. Also stunning that a human person could do that and never have the nagging conscience that would lead one to either confess or go mad and just end ones own life. The criminal really was okay just going along and living life apparently indifferent to the memory. Can a person really be that evil or does it require some kind of physical/psychological damage to permit a remorseless life after an unspeakable crime.
