"Are we prepared to promote conditions in which the living contact with God can be reestablished? For our lives today have become godless to the point of complete vacuity. God is no longer with us in the conscious sense of the word. He is denied, ignored, excluded from every claim to have a part in our daily life." - Alfred Delp, S.J.

My retablo-shrine of St. Martin De Porres ...

Check it out on the Etsy shop:

I like my bunny rabbit peeking around the corner.

  1. I love St Martin! He is a wonderful intercessor whenever I have a tough situation with any of my animals. He always helps.

  2. Terry ? Is that....Gabby....lower left corner ? I can't get very close on my tablet.
No doubt very many animals, if not all, see and are visited by the Saints and Angels and of course all of their beloved deceased human pets.

    1. No - it's a sort of calico street cat - she's wondering why the mice aren't running away - but Martin feeds them all. Gabby's a Snowshoe cat.

  3. That's a beautiful retablo of St. Martin de Porres. Thanks very much for posting it!
