Justice Scalia RIP

I liked him so much.  He was a good man.

Prayers for the repose of his soul.

  2. Funny he was buds with Ruth...love to sit with a bottle (or two)of wine and let them go at it! Didn't like his view points..all told he was a good man who was nice to his clerks, loved his family, didn't like buckshot, admired smart thinking even if he disagreed with it..Rest In Peace.

  4. He and his wife had nine children. One of them went on to become a Priest in the Arlington Diocese.

  5. Although I did to share his strict interpretation of the Constitution, I am impressed with the man for intellectual ability and the obvious affection in which he was held by all who knew him personally. He could disagree on principal but not become personal like so many today. Is he the Justice who boycotts the State of the Union Address as a protest against Obama's past remarks against the Citizins United ruling.? May he RIP.

    1. Yes he avoided the State of the Union - not necessarily because of Obama - he never attended anyone's speech - he thought the speeches were over done. I had to look it up because I never watch them either - it's pretty much a pep rally and a show as far as I'm concerned. Neither do I follow the debates taking place before the conventions. It's all hot air.
