"Are we prepared to promote conditions in which the living contact with God can be reestablished? For our lives today have become godless to the point of complete vacuity. God is no longer with us in the conscious sense of the word. He is denied, ignored, excluded from every claim to have a part in our daily life." - Alfred Delp, S.J.

Holland-Dozier-Holland and the Isley Brothers

Bonus track here and here.

Reminds me of 1966 - 1967 ... watching windows.

  1. A wonderful song! Holland, Dozier, Holland were magnificent song writers. The Motown productions were brilliant -- always a great rhythm section. I saw the Temptations in the Spring of 1967 at the old Back Bay Theatre in Boston. I was absolutely mesmerized.

  2. That would have been fun. I miss Boston.
