This is not chiacchierare... The Magisterium made a mistake at Vatican Council II when it accomodated the Marchetti 1949 error http://eucharistandmission.blogspot.it/2015/03/the-magisterium-made-mistake-at-vatican.html
Therese of Lisieux...getting us through. The ex ewtn priest? In custody wars, either side could be lying or truthful because as I Peter 4:18 says... Douay-Rheims Bible "And if the just man shall scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear." Whichever of the couple is just....even they will scarcely be saved so we don't know who is truthful. Every saint was scarcely saved including Therese, Aquinas, our double Popes hopefully, Chrysostom, John Paul II, Catholic bloggers, Catholic combox commentors. All are scarcely saved according to the Holy Spirit through Peter...IF they are just in God's eyes. This concept of saints being scarcely saved is very neglected....like an old Gino Vanelli or Bobby Caldwell album...but I digress....what?

Good reminder - John of the Cross wrote on that as well.
