The Centenary of the Death of Pope St. Pius X



One hundred years ago.

August 20, 1914, Pope Pius X died.

A fitting memorial here.

I find it strange there has been no real mention of this other than a few websites online.  There seems to be a great silence - especially in Rome.  Maybe I just haven't noticed?

    You find the great silence strange? Seriously? I think it makes perfect sense when you think about everything Pius X wrote and taught.
