When Obama talks about gun control he always says something like - "If it will protect one child..." Supposedly that's reason enough to pass laws.
Yet he goes to Planned Parenthood and is received like a rock star - to the point he blushes and gushes. Amidst hugs and praise, he promises that PP will endure and that the nation will never go back to the 1950's.
Obama has never yet condemned the atrocities committed by Gosnell, and the other abortion butchers... who kill babies for profit.
President Barack Obama praised the Planned Parenthood Federation of America for saving lives and helping women and families in a 12-minute, 3-second speech on Friday, which was enough time for 7.6 abortions to take place at Planned Parenthood clinics, based upon the abortion data in their latest annual report. - CNSChild protection is in the toilet - literally.
What a nation of hypocrites.
And then there is Cardinal Dolan.
Art: Pieter Bruegel ‘Massacre of the Innocents’.
"and then there is cardinal dolan."
ReplyDeletetread carefully. our bishops have a monumental task of trying to safeguard the souls of all God's children, not just those who deem themselves righteous. while some of his actions have caused me to raise an eyebrow and admittedly are confusion, he deserves our respect and even more, our prayers.
What did I say against him? There are questions raised about him that are troubling. Abortion can no longer be tolerated as a single issue problem - winking at so-called 'pro-choice' speakers, politicians and activists.
ReplyDeleteQuestions by Catholics - especially parents - may certainly be raised in his regard. The mixed messages are fast becoming a source of scandal.
From Cardinal Bergoglio:
ReplyDeleteOn receiving the Eucharist:
The new Pope referred to abortion and communion, saying “we should commit ourselves to ‘eucharistic coherence’, that is, we should be conscious that people cannot receive holy communion and at the same time act or speak against the commandments, in particular when abortion, euthanasia, and other serious crimes against life and family are facilitated. This responsibility applies particularly to legislators, governors, and health professionals.”
well then. someone should write cardinal dolan and reference the pope francis quote.
ReplyDeleteDB - Maybe you could do that since you have sort of an in with him - seeing he is from your parish. ;)
