Prayers for the Holy Father in Colombia

The Holy Father slammed the side of his head against the frame of the 'Popemobile' while standing and waving.  He's alright but blood spattered on his mozetta.  He continued on in good spirits.  God bless him.

  1. Are you sure he and Cardinal Burke didn't get into a fight?

    What?

  2. He is a real gentleman to carry on. ^^ We have been watching the coverage in Spanish with the El Sembrador news team. Wonderful commentary and witness plus the enthusiasm of the people has been so joyful. It is good to see him happy and in such good company as only us Latinos can be. They interviewed many children who met su Santidad who were just so excited.
I truly hope his visit will bear much fruit for the many who have suffered so much after decades of war in beautiful Colombia.

I liked this story too and hope to read more about her:

    1. One of my DIL is from Colombia. We went there for the wedding - the people are so warm and they just went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful time. And the fruit every morning for breakfast! It made me very sad to go home to my carton of OJ :(

  3. Someone get on top of the meme.

“I prefer a church which is bruised, hurting and dirty because it has been out on the streets, rather than a church which is unhealthy from being confined and from clinging to its own security.”
