Ash Wednesday ... what to do for Lent.

St. Francis bathing the lepers.

  1. Praying you have a spiritually profitable Lent!

  2. Small plain desserts, no beef, no pasta with wonderful sauce. Fish and beans.
Absolutely no Medallions of Ham with Sauce Bordelaise Cezanne....say no to Chicken and Ham Aspic yes...but no French fish like Salmon Mousseline Chantilly. You can have Sole...but not Fillets of Sole with Quenelles, Truffles and Lobster Sauce Herriot. You can have one vanilla frosty from Wendy's when you're two...and small.

  3. In my perpetual lent I'd need a vanilla frosty IV. What about filet-o-fish?

I used to wash mom's feet when she was in the nursing home.
