They are on fire for Jesus. Father Benedict left us a great gift. May he rest in peace. Father Stan Fortuna is a very moving speaker especially when speaking of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Living in NYC, I have met a few of these friars personally, as well as Father Groeschel, and they are absolutely for real. Here in NYC, they live in one of the poorest neighborhoods in the Bronx, and they work everyday among the poorest of the poor. They are also near a large abortion center (abortion mills are always put within easy access to the poor so they can easily kill their babies), and the Friars are always there. Their order also counts very highly in the number of ordinations in the New York area. Of course, they are now around the world, always in the poorest areas. Father Groeschel left us a beautiful, holy legacy.
Yup. Fr Stan grew up near me in Yonkers. He lived in a pretty tough neighborhood. He's the real deal. I also see these good men in the poor area where I work. I love these guys!

Aren't they great?! I like Fortuna as well - years ago some tried to persuade me otherwise - but I love the CFRs.
