I am not thrilled with any of the candidates- but SOMEONE will need to lead! Hilary is, in my opinion, someone we cannot trust, in general. And especially when it comes to the lives our HUMAN unborn babies in this country. Hilary says to Planned Parenthood, "I've got your back." How scarey, and how evil. She is automatically, therefore, off my list for voting. Trump, on the other hand, has shown himself to be pompous, tactless, ego-centered, displaying discrimination, etc. But he at least CLAIMS to be pro-life, (although that perhaps remains to be seen). Trump, in God's hands, may be like another David in the Bible. Trump, like David, has many imperfections, but God took King David, and transformed him into one of the greatest figures in the Bible. David was annointed, by God, despite his imperfections, and sins. Perhaps, as surprising as it might, be, Trump might be another "David" in God's hands-if God wills him to be President, and if he is annointed by God to do so. The plans of, God, are not always our plans. God is full of surprises! I've been seeking God in, prayer, about the elections, lately, and this is what I've been getting. Each of, us, needs to seek God on this! Lord, who do YOU want us to, choose, for President,should be our prayer.
Helen, The President cannot by himself or herself do anything to change the Supreme Court ruling. That would takes a very long time to alter. It will take a Constitutional Amendment to change this and that too would take a very ling time. Any politician who claims that the Presidency is the force that will change this is just plain lying or totally uniformed as to how our system works. I am so tired of people being mislead on this for nearly 50 years now.
I kinda like Gary Johnson. The kids do too. Legal weed for everyone and total, well almost total freedom. So what if he knows squat about the world. Trump knows less. I also liked Jill Stein for about three days. When she started harping on opening another 9/11 investigation because something is fishy I thought oh no another conspiracy theory I cannot take it. So now with four weeks to go we are down to uninformed, unprepared, just plain crazy and dishonest. The four dwarfs of the apocalypse. Heaven help us.
Wallace, the reason I brought up the abortion issue stance, in terms of the candidates, was not just concerning the issue of their effect politically on this, but because I believe that any Presidential candidate who is pro abortion, most likely will be lacking good judgement in many other areas that are important, and vital to the American people. A President who supports the killing of our unborn babies in the womb, is someone I do not want to see handling many other issues important to, Americans.
