"Are we prepared to promote conditions in which the living contact with God can be reestablished? For our lives today have become godless to the point of complete vacuity. God is no longer with us in the conscious sense of the word. He is denied, ignored, excluded from every claim to have a part in our daily life." - Alfred Delp, S.J.

Today's Gospel ...

s. leopold mandic

They set out to seize him, for they said:
"He is out of his mind."

  1. I relate to that phrase, "he us out of his mind."

Mark Mallet has written another fine piece today regarding our Lord Jesus Christ, our Holy Father, and this very phrase that for me brings back memories of misunderstandings and ridicule.

What a time to be alive. If you read Mr. Mallet's piece you will understand why.

    1. Typos sure are pesky little things. I meant "is" not us. ;)

  2. What a wonderful saint; I feel he would really 'listen' to my prayers. Thanks for the picture, Terry Nelson and wishing you a belated 'happy new year'..
