Benedict was handed a volume containing the visions of false seer Conchiglia.
False 'seer' gets a photo op with Pope Benedict and Ganswein.
Ratzinger was handed a volume containing the visions of false seer Conchiglia, who deifies the Virgin Mary, considers Pope Francis a “vicar of the Anti-Christ”, defines the Vatican as a den of deadly sins and claims that we are ruled by aliens. Mgr. Gänswein denied there being any support for the so-called seer or the content of the book. “Had Benedict XVI known what it was about he would never have agreed to the meeting” - Andrea TornielliI think people do this stuff all of the time. They get a photo with the pope and promote their cause, giving the impression of papal approval.
For of this sort are they which creep into houses,
and lead captive silly women laden with sins...
The Dangers of the Last Days.
But understand this: there will be terrifying times in the last days.
People will be self-centered and lovers of money, proud, haughty, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, irreligious, callous, implacable, slanderous, licentious, brutal, hating what is good, traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, as they make a pretense of religion but deny its power. Reject them.
For some of these slip into homes and make captives of women weighed down by sins, led by various desires, always trying to learn but never able to reach a knowledge of the truth.
Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so they also oppose the truth—people of depraved mind, unqualified in the faith. But they will not make further progress, for their foolishness will be plain to all, as it was with those two. - 2 Timothy 3
Doesn't anyone in Rome screen its guests?
ReplyDeleteI read this story yesterday afternoon on Vatican Insider. I got the impression these folks were allowed under false pretenses.
DeleteI assume their (the visitors) false pretenses? Sounds like Papa Benny got blindsided.
ReplyDeleteI agree.
Delete“When I got home,” Gänswein continued, “I looked at the book and so did Benedict XVI later on. We were surprised and shocked because we noticed straight away that the book contained some “private revelations”. It didn’t take long to work out that the whole thing was strange and incredible to say the least. The Pope Emeritus asked me to send the book to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith which is competent in this field, immediately.”
“We didn’t think anything of the meeting,” Mgr. Gänswein concluded. “There are many people around who call themselves “seers”… We had no idea that the book contained those comments. Naturally, there is no support for the “seer” or the contents of the book in any way. Had Benedict XVI known that he was going to be given a collection of messages of this kind, he would never have agreed to the meeting”.
p.s. Terry - I like your new header.
ReplyDeleteThe problem is perhaps a fact, or perhaps not: Gaenswein is still supposed to be the gatekeeper of the Emeritus Pope. He decides who sees Benedict, he apparently sorts out the manifold letters still sent to Benedict and decides which Benedict will read, or not. Those people could not just have walked up to B16...? Someone allowed them to have this opportunistic access to this 88 old emeritus-Pope who still goes for a much slowed down, and even perhaps painful walk, in the Vatican gardens.
ReplyDeleteSo, who gave the crackpots permission to meet him there?
Benedict?
But Gaenswein is supposed to be his gatekeeper, so he must have give this longed for permission. But the Archbishop himself does not look too happy and impressed. I've seen some pics on this crazy woman's web site. Gaenswein does not exactly appear to be over-friendly and in ecstasy during this garden-meeting.
And to whom does "we" refer in the Archbishop's explanation quoted by Mr Nelson (Terry )?
According to the two main posters (who cannot abide Gaenswein) in the Ratzinger Forum Website, Gaenswein is and was always exactly the fly in the ointment. For those two main contenders, Gaenswein had always been the guy who "wrecked" Benedict's papacy, etcetera. They have no good word to say about this Archbishop, already for years.
The mind boggles. I certainly do not know the answer.
Error in my first post.
ReplyDeleteTerry did not quote. Archbishop Gaenswein.
Yaya did.
Sorry for the slip-up, Yaya and Terry.
She got the ascii code for BERGOGLIO right.
ReplyDeleteA = 65 - Z = 90
a = 97 - z = 122.
In the passport (he has shown his Argentinian passport on internet) names are written in Majuscules only.
