"Are we prepared to promote conditions in which the living contact with God can be reestablished? For our lives today have become godless to the point of complete vacuity. God is no longer with us in the conscious sense of the word. He is denied, ignored, excluded from every claim to have a part in our daily life." - Alfred Delp, S.J.

Signs Above the Cathedral of St. Paul

Cathedral of St. Paul struck by lightning yesterday, Divine Mercy Sunday - at the exact same time the canonizations took place in Rome.

That's what I read.

Song for this post here.

H/T to a blog I'm banned from and forbidden to have contact with.  Photo credit: Kare 11 1398645780000-Allison-Claire---Lightning-in-St-Paul

  1. You are banned from a blog? God Lord, how juvenile. I got banned from the Diocese of Orange's Facebook page, so I guess I can one-up you on being a sinner. You are welcome on my blog at any time.

  2. It was only the official Vatican blog, not like it was a big deal or anything.
