"Are we prepared to promote conditions in which the living contact with God can be reestablished? For our lives today have become godless to the point of complete vacuity. God is no longer with us in the conscious sense of the word. He is denied, ignored, excluded from every claim to have a part in our daily life." - Alfred Delp, S.J.

The terror, the horror in Syria...

From MailOnline: The world has looked on in horror today as graphic images emerged showing the aftermath of a dawn poison gas attack in the suburbs of Damascus that wiped out 1,300 people as they lay sleeping in their beds.

  1. Such madness ... insanity seems to be increasing ... insane greed, lusting, coveting, lying - spoken falsehoods, serial murders and slaughters ...

  2. The pictures in that article are shocking. Really puts things into perspective.

And then there's the ribbon of pictures & celebrity updates on the right margin juxtaposed with the Syria story that just make one wonder who's editing the online stuff. Crazy.
