"Are we prepared to promote conditions in which the living contact with God can be reestablished? For our lives today have become godless to the point of complete vacuity. God is no longer with us in the conscious sense of the word. He is denied, ignored, excluded from every claim to have a part in our daily life." - Alfred Delp, S.J.

Praying for the victims of the Italian quake.

L'Aquila and surrounding towns in the Italian Apennines have been devastated by a strong earthquake early this morning. At least one village is reported to have been leveled. Praying for the dead and the living.
Jesus, I trust in you.

This video is offensive to just about everyone -- the Beatles, George Harrison & Lord Krishna, Christ, the Pope... I don't get it. I'm guessing comment moderation isn't enabled?

  2. Michael - thanks for telling me - I did not bother to check it out - still haven't, and now I've deleted it - I think I will just never post comments with a video link from now on - I'm never iterested is these things anyway.

Sorry I was irresponsible and let this get through - thanks again.

  3. Just heard from a friend over there that Abbess Gemma of the Poor Clare monastery was killed in the quake. Eternal rest grant to her O Lord and to all the deceased.
