People back to work, kids back to school.
Except it isn't even Epiphany yet - so it's still Christmastide.
For people with nothing to do except shoot their mouth off - it's business as usual.
Here's a thought I want to ponder ... ruminate ...
If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, his religion is vain.
Religion that is pure and undefiled before God and the Father is this:
to care for orphans and widows in their affliction and to keep oneself unstained by the world. - James 1: 26-27
Yep ... no wonder a dog has more friends than I do. He wags his tail and not his tongue.
ReplyDeleteWhen the beautiful Nativity scene and the glorious Christmas tree come down in St. Peter's square, then ours will too and only then is Christmastide over for me. ^^
