"Are we prepared to promote conditions in which the living contact with God can be reestablished? For our lives today have become godless to the point of complete vacuity. God is no longer with us in the conscious sense of the word. He is denied, ignored, excluded from every claim to have a part in our daily life." - Alfred Delp, S.J.

I've just about had it with all of this religious crap.

Then she said, "I can't take it anymore."

  1. Breathe, Terry. Deep breaths...

    1. I'm totally kidding - it's all about the gif. It's an animated gif of Katherine Emmerich. So I just added the captions.

    2. Terry, this reminds me of the story about a mentally ill woman who live in my town a number of years ago. Everyone in town knew who she was and sort of looked after her general welfare, and she would sort of wander from church service to church service, funeral to funeral, and community event to community event, talking out her crazy thoughts. A friend of mine told me that one morning she came in and sat down in the pew in fron of him at Mass. The priest got up for his homily and began by saying "God is love." She stood up and said in a loud voice, "I don't have to listen to this shit" and shuffled out.
