"Are we prepared to promote conditions in which the living contact with God can be reestablished? For our lives today have become godless to the point of complete vacuity. God is no longer with us in the conscious sense of the word. He is denied, ignored, excluded from every claim to have a part in our daily life." - Alfred Delp, S.J.

Oddly enough ...

This is cool.

Why do you say that Terry?

Because there is a crowned nun portrait in the background.

It's also a cool fashion shot, demonstrating colorization and 1950's style.

Now that will take your mind off things, huh?

(The model on the end in the green dress looks like Jessica Walter - Lucille Bluth from Arrested Development.  I wonder?)

What?

    1. You know what's cool? Some of the dresses are low cut but they aren't bulging over the top bazooms or cleavage. They don't look like hookers.

    2. Got that right. ^^ No cleavage busting enhancements that scream, "look at me!" All of the women portrayed, are classic beauties dressed beautifully, blondes, brunettes, and a redhead.

I thought of the most beautiful beauty of the time, Grace Kelly. Of course Liz was lovely as was Sophia, but Grace topped them all.

Thanks for sharing the lovely picture.

    1. Usually they carry a statue indicating their devotion - very commonly, the Infant Jesus or Our Lady.
