So many bloggers fill their posts with gifs that are 1) not really connected to anything and 2) dumb. Not you though, Terry. You bring us gems like this (and the one of the boy and the plane). Gifs that we identify with. Gifs that are metaphors. Gifs that lay bare the human condition and obliquely illuminate our paths, making the next couple steps a little surer.
This one is like the parable of the prodigal son: In a way, I am the one in the pink top, who sees the danger and tries to warn others before it's too late. In another way, I am the vain one in the white top, so transfixed by my beefy arms and bolt-ons that I don't know I'm about to be run down. However, despite my similarity to both protagonists, what I'm really called to be is the garbage truck driver, who is straight and even-handed in his path, sparing those who jump out of the way and clipping those who don't.
Abbey Roads: come for the spiritual profundities, stay for the gifs.
