Anima Christi, sanctifica me. Corpus Christi, salva me. Sanguis Christi, inebria me. Aqua lateris Christi, lava me. Passio Christi, conforta me. O bone Jesu, exaudi me. Intra vulnera tua absconde me. Ne permittas me separari a te. Ab hoste malign defende me. In hora mortis meae voca me. Et jube me venire ad te. Ut cum sanctis tuis laudem te In saecula saeculorum. Amen.
My thoughts exactly. ^^ I asked myself if San Ignacio was thinking of the Catholic blogosphere when he advising his sons. But then again, I know he was thinking of me.
I have known my fair share, gentleman and good, even holy, souls all. One of my favorites on returning from studies in Rome said he had to get a new back--there were so many knives in his old one. I am so happy I took Ignatius as my Confirmation name. I ask his help everyday...
Me too - I've known many - good and holy. I've run into a couple of really far out guys - but only a couple. I was more or less thinking if there has ever been a 'reform' movement within the order.
Terry there are traditional Jesuits but most are members of newer orders who practice traditional Jesuit spirituality: Servi Jesu et Mariae and Miles Christi
