Old Saint Boniface



Old St. Boniface chopped down a tree
and then after Christmas
they killed him.

Happy feast day Poodle - I just made that poem up - especially for you.  I know!

And ever since, German people cut down trees until Christmas.
Not knowing what to do with them, they give them to the poor people
in Mannheim to decorate and look at when they're drunk.
