"Are we prepared to promote conditions in which the living contact with God can be reestablished? For our lives today have become godless to the point of complete vacuity. God is no longer with us in the conscious sense of the word. He is denied, ignored, excluded from every claim to have a part in our daily life." - Alfred Delp, S.J.

Wednesday of Holy Week

  1. Procesion de las damas vestiendo mantilla.

    1. I knew that. :)

I wish I could be in Spain for Holy Week.

    2. Me to Terry, but it is impossible for us priests who are assigned in a parish. Maybe I will pray to St. Padre Pio so that he can share with me the secret how to bilocate. What!

  2. My daughter taught at the University of Santiago for ten months. My visits there were wonderful! I would love to live there for a year myself. Attending Mass at La Catedral de Sant Iago with the huge thuribal were amazing. And how I loved walking around that lovely town. Brings back fond memories. And the churros and chocolate!
