I love the snow..this winter has been great! ( I know..I can't say that in public as everyone looks at me like I am nuts, and lately they look at me like they want to lynch me.) Light a fire, open a bottle of wine and watch the snow fall (if you don't have to travel out to work or somewhere else.)
Just think of the beautiful spring the midwest will have this year!
My power and heat went out last night before 11 and came on about 9:30 this morning. My car lives outside and I had to go find it and try to move it but got stuck; luckily neighbors getting their own cars unstuck gave me a push. And the state patrol recommends not going anywhere if you don't have to because a) the snow, b) the colder temps and c) did I mention the snow?
Okay Nan, now that is another side of it...so I take it you would be on the lynching side?
To cheer you up this is the first winter in two years I got to use my snow shoes. and on a weekly basis..now that makes it all better doesn't it! Uh, doesn't it?????
Terry, I'm worried about Cathy. With all this snow you've been having, she's bound to be out of wine by now. How's she going to be able to get to The Olde Wine Shoppe to restock??

ReplyDeleteHe was born here so he doesn't know any better.
ReplyDeleteOh ok.
Delete(I'm not saying it's a bad thing. Was just curious.)

Well of course you did; there's so much snow that's the only way of getting around.
DeleteI went through 2 tanks of snowblower gas. I'm done. Much drama however - my back! My back! Oh! My back!
ReplyDeleteHot water bottle? Electric blanket? Hot bath? Alcohol? Advil? Leftover painkillers from visits to the dentist?

ReplyDeleteShe'll have to borrow Mack's snowshoes.
DeleteNot to worry - she's well stocked with booze and firearms.
