Tradition in Action claims to be "committed to defend the perennial Magisterium of Holy Mother Church and Catholic traditions. TIA also works for a restoration of Christian civilization, adapted to contemporary historical circumstances."

However, TIA's members attempt to do this by ridiculing the Roman clergy, the Pope, and many prominent Catholic leaders and religious. Their manner of presenting pictures and commentary completely aside from any context is both a misrepresentation of facts and disgraceful to the Church and Her hierarchy. While ostensibly seeking to reinstate traditions in the Church, this site ridicules the living Tradition of the Church’s Magisterium and therefore, it cannot validly claim a right to defense of Holy Mother Church. ReplyDeleteGosh, I think ubers can be more dangerous. You can blame bad formation or ignorance for the lib garbage, but uber-trads remind me of the pharisees. They know all the "right" things but have the wrong spirit.
And we all know what Jesus thought of them. . .

ReplyDeleteThat is not true about Catholic Culture, Pablo. Or, maybe try only allow donors to comment, but they will and do respond to serious e-mails, and they are prompt.
ReplyDeleteCatholicculture.org's site reviews are great, and they are fair. I have seen some very traditionalist sites get good reviews there as well.
Oh, and by the way, Terry, I didn't "realise" you were British, haha.
ReplyDeleteI once worked with a guy who put "Happy Labour Day!" on the restaurant's marquee. The manager was not amused, and made him change it. Dumb story, but tangentially relevant, I think.
