  4. We have a President who employs taqqiya, me thinks.

    May God have mercy on those who perished on 9/11, and may He lift up those who mourn.

  5. I don't get it but like Walter, I am canadian and we mourn and remember together with the Americans who mourn and remember . I also wished those jumpers had a parachute or a big sheet layed out at the bottom , you know like they have for stuntmen in the making of a movie , damn that would have been awesome.

    With the souls of the Just brought to perfection, give rest, O Savior, to the souls of your servants, keeping them for the blessed life with you, for you love mankind. In the place of rest which is yours, O Lord, where all the saints repose, give rest to the souls of your servants for you alone love mankind.

  7. It is amazing and unfortunate the harm that a small number of bad people can bring to a large number of good people. I would remember also that Muslims died that day, as well. Atheists, too. Probably Hindus. It was not just Christians and Jews. It is also very sad and traumatic. May God bring healing to all of us and to the relations among His children.

  8. The events of 9-11-01 are imprinted upon my memory...my first week of seminary; we came up from our first class of the morning and heard that NYC was being attacked; watched with unbelief and horror on the tv; fellow seminarians in my CT seminary had relatives/friends in both towers; for several days we were paranoid as planes flew overhead.
    A nightmare.
    God give rest to those who died on that day; God give comfort to their survivors, friends, loved ones.
    God grant mercy to us all; we need it.

  9. I can't even watch the video;
    it is still so absolutely horrendous (and I'm no prude).
    After all these years.
    And, I fear, we're in for more terror, torture, and abomination.
    Because of our sins...our materialism, our selfishness, our impurity, our lack of love...it just frightens me to death.
    But somehow God will give us strength.
    As our Holy Father prepares to visit the UK I think of the horrid tortures of the English, Welsh, Scots and Irish martyrs...hung, drawn and quartered...their innards literally being cut out from them as most of them were alive...many of them crying, "Jesu, Jesu, Jesu...!" and then being hacked into four pieces to be displayed before everyone for who knows how long (I'm of English descent...I cannot for the life of me understand this absolute barbaric practice...at least the French used a guillotine and it was somewhat humane, even if the streets flowed with blood for weeks).
    I don't know what is in store for those of us who will not submit to the modernistic, secularist, apostasy that is, I'm afraid, down the pike...
    we just must pray,
    "Jesu, Jesu, Jesu...give us strength".
