"Are we prepared to promote conditions in which the living contact with God can be reestablished? For our lives today have become godless to the point of complete vacuity. God is no longer with us in the conscious sense of the word. He is denied, ignored, excluded from every claim to have a part in our daily life." - Alfred Delp, S.J.

Family photos.

Hot dogs for supper!
That's me in the foreground - with the cool tie, then my little brother Timmy, Dad, Mom, and my sister Beth - my brother Skip was taking the photo.

  1. Wow, your dad looked a lot like Robert Young.

  2. WOW! I didn't know you guys had your own reality show.

If my memory serves me right (and it shouldn't since all this happened way before my time), you guys had the first reality show in TV history:0)

Very subdued compared to the ones that followed.

  3. That picture evokes the memory as to how much our society and country have change since that was televised.

Granted, life for the viewer wasn't that rosy, but it was something that we imagined we might have some day.

If only I had known that it was your family, Terry. I might have gotten to know you and snagged a bit part to jump start my singing, dancing and acting career.

Sigh! If wishes were horses, beggars would ride!

  4. The show surely portrayed the ideal family and offered something to aspire to.
