Hermits on vacation...

Religious oxymorons.  (A new category.)
.
I was just reading a post by an online hermit - official canonical hermit BTW - who recently took a week long vacation.  I guess she had to 'get away for a little r & r.'  I know!

  1. Religious oxymoron: Yeah, a few have come to mind as I read America Magazine: homocelibate priest, virtuous liar. I will stop. Been reading Notes from Stillsong? I can't read her. I mean no unkindness, but seriously, she make my brain hurt!

  6. I really wonder what will become of them. In the latter part of the 20th century, John Hardon, James Schall, William Most, John C. Ford - so many good ones.

I wonder if the Jesuits' strict hierarchical structure will mess them up (Fransicans and other can have spin-off groups to lead renewal, for instance).
