I was just reading a post by an online hermit - official canonical hermit BTW - who recently took a week long vacation. I guess she had to 'get away for a little r & r.' I know!

Religious oxymoron: Yeah, a few have come to mind as I read America Magazine: homocelibate priest, virtuous liar. I will stop. Been reading Notes from Stillsong? I can't read her. I mean no unkindness, but seriously, she make my brain hurt!

ReplyDeleteI really wonder what will become of them. In the latter part of the 20th century, John Hardon, James Schall, William Most, John C. Ford - so many good ones.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the Jesuits' strict hierarchical structure will mess them up (Fransicans and other can have spin-off groups to lead renewal, for instance).
