The reason I think the video is edited. It’s so strange, so jerky, it seems to me to be edited – simply because in some cases he is obviously handing out a rosary case, but we do not see his attendant handing it to him. The ‘pull-away' hand seems to me to be the one reaching for the rosary case, which suddenly appears in his left hand - you can see it in some shots.
Oh well, it appears that I'm wrong again. I guess he does discourage people from kissing his ring in this way. The last bishop's ring I kissed was worn by a bishop who pretty much had to resign. No more kissy-kissy I guess.
