Markets fall on ABC News report that Flynn is prepared to testify on Trump and Russia.

The false gods and the idols are falling ...

Single handedly Trump is isolating the United States, which explains why Putin wanted him in office in the first place.

Hopefully he will resign before starting a nuclear war.

  1. He won't resign or start a nuclear war. The market was way, way up.

Flynn has already lies under oath so whatever he says may not be true.

Mueller is outside of the scope of his investigation, the reasoning for which was the fake Trump dossier and Comeys leaks. The leaks he made to spur an investigation. Fruit of the poison tree and all.

    1. No the reason for the special investigator was IC info from our own and allies who had copious incriminating info on Trump and Associates. Add to that the digital robbery of US citizens private emails and the so call dossier is a total side story.

    2. Yes, but you can't wiretap the opposition in an election. It isn't legal. Anything learned illegally can't be used against him.

    3. But the leaked info from Coney, classified and leaked in purpise, which he admitted to doing so he could get a special investigator, that was limited to the election. Mueller has gone beyond the election.

    4. The wiretap was on legit suspects (Manafort et al.) who was dealing with campaign people. A special prosecutor has authority toe go beyond original charge when other crimes are uncovered. Remember Ken Star, whitewater (original charge) and Minica Lewensky (new info uncovered).

  2. The market will fall anyway - what goes up...

    Flynn is coming clean.

Mueller is doing his job. Whenever an investigation happens things get revealed, one by one. The roots of the poison tree is what is being investigated.

I hope Trump is removed then - if he won't resign.

    1. But you are right - this is still not enough to make him resign like Nixon did. I have no respect for the man Trump and I think he disgraces the presidency. I don't like Pence, but he would be a much better president.

  3. The problem is so many Republicans are complicit to one degree or another. Trump is just one bad actor. His base will conflate lots of excuses to exonerate him. The rest of us, 80%, will suffer at their hands. Trump and his enablers are trying to establish the Putin model of oligarchs who gather as much money and power as they can. Not sure if we can get our democracy back. The enemy is internal now. The corruption so deep it may never be weeded out.

  5. I support Trump. He has done more good for our country than any president in recent memory. He has cut taxes, slowed down ISIS, overturned the evil contraception mandate, appointed pro-life judges, and tells the truth about Islam and immigration. Wicked Hillary surely would not have done any of these things. He's a great, and very Catholic (without actually being Catholic) president.

    1. I doubt no amount of revelations or criminal activity will change your mind, but I think your position will be even harder to defend in a few months. Every political leader in the free world is shunning him. Putin is is only friend. And with friends like that you do not need enemies. Also, he did not cut any taxes the Congress does that. He will certainly benefit though.

    3. We will see. Trump seems to be the only man willing to stand up to the crazy North Korean! The rest of the world is running and wanting to ignore the oppressed people of North Korea and South Korea but Trump is the only man with the balls to stand up to him. The world with thank Trump and the United States if/when he puts the North Korean Dictator in his place. Also, who would you rather have? Him or Hillary?

    4. I agree totally with you, Aloysius. Trump is the best president we have had in a long time. His Christmas announcement the other day was magnificent. Plus, Baby Jesus is now in the White House for the first time. Trump and Melania have the most beautiful nativity scene,

    5. My bad again! The markets fell because of fake news from Brian Ross. My apologies!

  6. “Goldman Sachs has issued a grave warning to investors after discovering the average valuation of bonds, stocks, and credit were at their highest level since 1990. It could lead to severe problems for investors, according to strategists. Christian Mueller-Glissman of Goldman Sachs wrote in a note this week: ‘It has seldom been the case that equities, bonds, and credit have been similarly expensive at the same time, only in the Roaring Twenties and the Golden Fifties. All good things must come to an end.'”

  7. This was my thought about the idols falling - it is from the devotion to the Seven Joys and Sorrows of St. Joseph ...

But how much also didst thou rejoice, Oh St. Joseph
in having always with thee the same God,
and seeing the Egyptian idols fall prostrate on the ground!

Se what joy comes when all of our idols fall to the ground and our false gods are crushed, and the rich are sent empty away! Put no trust in princes or weapons or riches.

  8. Trump has named a number of good judges to the courts which have been devastating this country for years. He deserves high marks for that alone. And the liberal media hates him. So he can't be all bad.

    1. The question is how much bad are you willing to accept? Every tryannt and bully in history had his good points. It is said Hitler made the trains run on time.

    2. Also, you cannot predict a judicial decision. It takes a lifetime of cases to decern a Judge's legacy. Eisenhower appointed conservative Earl Warren to Supreme Court. He turned out to be considered a liberal when ruling on national cases. According to Warren he never changed. Every case is unique set of circumstances.
