No surprise here. We just have to wait and see what comes. Our President needs to grow into the role and get a thick skin. I suspect all the pomp will not make up for his loss of personal freedom to do and say whatever he wants. We have to remind St. Joseph every day to stay close to him for all our sake.
And yet despite his many verbal gaffes and blunders, President Trump is a man of his word. I am going to give him an attaboy for cutting off federal funding to the NGO abortion providers. President Donald Trump reinstated the Mexico City Policy, the executive order was signed Jan. 23, the Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children.
The wonder and beauty of the Lord who made heaven and earth, is that He loves us right where we are, warts and all. He patiently molds us and uses us for His greater glory (the great St. Paul is a prime example). He, through the powerful intercession of the glorious and loving St. Joseph, will watch over and guide President Trump. That is my prayer and my hope despite the many times I roll my eyes when President Trump stumbles on his ego.
Now, this makes me smile because I have been stumbling and bumbling for years and yet Jesus loves me, forgives me, and wants me to pray for all my brothers and sisters no matter who they are because prayer, rather than hate and gossip, is what will lift up many before the Final Judgement.
Alternative facts? That term is priceless, edgy, silly, and very Orwellian. ;)
I agree ... a complete waste of precious time and personal integrity is being wasted on arguing over "inauguration crowd count" and now on "the popular vote stolen by illegals."
When I read those headlines I thought to myself, "don't push your luck sir. You are President now, forget the pettiness. Pull your pants up, stay the course, and show us what you're truly made of!"
Dear San Jose, no petition goes unheeded by you. Glorious St. Joseph, patient and kind, please help us! Pray with us for an increase in faith and in trust in Divine Providence. Like you, may we too rise up, listen, and heed the Lord's call without any hesitation or doubt. I continue to entrust President Trump and his administration and his family to your care and guidance.

I've started to commend him to St. Joseph every day.
ReplyDeleteAmen! There's a reason as to why Santa Theresa de Avila says, "In all things go to St. Joseph"
DeleteYaya you are wise beyond your years. Terry you are not too bad either. When can we get to the point when the petty nonsense is not headline news?
