Hate is poison and I want no part of it. It makes one a prisoner too.

DeleteI'm absolutely giddy with excitement over today. That doesn't mean I'm full of hate for Obama. I totally and completely hate what he stood (stands) for & Clinton too for that matter, but I don't hate *them.* It's ok, Terry.
ReplyDeleteI'm not giddy, but I'm happy. I have other friends who honestly and truly hate them and get really nasty about them. It concerns me when it is so close to home. But the prayer I posted helps a great deal.
DeleteThe level of discourse is pretty low. Wild ideas are always on the fringe but they are more pronounced now. I do not see this group of people as conciliatory in any way. We can only pray that they do not bring disaster.
ReplyDeleteI think the reactions are extreme and unreasonable and much more dangerous than 'they' imagine Trump will be. I'm watching everyone gathering for the Inaugural and the conspiracy theories and prophecies come to mind and it all seems so absurd.
