Something to think about for preppers and storm chasers ...

Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.

“If God has shown us bad times ahead, it's enough for me that He knows about them. That's why He sometimes shows us things, you know - to tell us that this too is in His hands.”
― Corrie ten BoomThe Hiding Place

“And our wise Father in heaven knows when we're going to need things too. Don't run out ahead of Him.”
― Corrie ten BoomThe Hiding Place

On forgiveness.

“Didn't he and I stand together before an all seeing God convicted of the same murder? For I had murdered him with my heart and my tongue.”
― Corrie ten BoomThe Hiding Place

And for those who want to leave the Church:

“When a train goes through a tunnel and it gets dark, you don’t throw away the ticket and jump off. You sit still and trust the engineer.”
― Corrie ten Boom

  1. I was laid off last week after working at the same job for over 7 years. Today you and another dear friend are both quoting Corrie ten Boom. And I just got a call for a job interview tomorrow...you were praying for me and didn't even realize it :)

  2. Be assured of my prayers for a successful interview. Ask St. Joseph to accompany you so that if it be God's holy will, St. Joseph can intercede for you before, during and after your interview.

    All the best!

  3. Yes, Angela, what Yaya said: we will all, I am sure, raise you up in hearts and prayers for you all day. The entire job/money stress is pretty hard, but Our Lord is right there with you.
